With EmmaOneSock I was tempted for a very colourful paisley. Could not help myself and ordered it.

And two weeks ago I ordered 4 sewing books (thanks to Carolyn's post on books I started looking for Decorative dressmaking and found it, plus three other books I liked) .
Today I bought two patterns. A Jalie shirt (love the fit of Jalie tops) and this Vogue pattern:

I do like the jacket so much, especially the back. Had my eyes on this one since I first saw this on someone elsed blog, and just could not resist the temptation....
Ohmygosh I have inspired quite a few people to purchase some sewing books! So what else did you get besides the Decorative Dressmaking book?
ReplyDeleteI also bought High Fashion Sewing Secrets From the World's Best Designers from Claire Shaeffer, and Sewing Secrets From the Fashion Industry from Susan Huxley (all used books, which makes it affordable to buy a book on which I'm not too sure) The fourth was Marcy Tilton's book
ReplyDeleteEasy Guide to Sewing Tops and T-Shirts, but this was cancelled. Will write a post when I'll have them.
