With Big 4 patterns, I always go by the finished measurements printed on the pattern tissue at the bust, waist and hip marks and ignore the pattern envelope.Summersethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00364235843222794829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6215123741467950471.post-22104629694694561642008-06-26T17:07:00.000+02:002008-06-26T17:07:00.000+02:00Can I include your observations over on my blog? I never adjust Burda patterns, they seem to fit me well. I made the size 38. It seems to have enough ease to wear a light sweater underneath.Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11274649006496918800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6215123741467950471.post-49543602362932016672008-06-26T03:01:00.000+02:002008-06-26T03:01:00.000+02:00Well, BWOF patterns usually fit me without major a...Well, BWOF patterns usually fit me without major alterations (slight sway back adjustment sometimes) so they are undoubtly my favoritesTanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01073735708031525696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6215123741467950471.post-59384353150167888392008-06-26T02:44:00.000+02:002008-06-26T02:44:00.000+02:00I agree about the fit, especially in set in sleeve...I agree about the fit, especially in set in sleeves. The Big 4 always seem to have too much ease in the sleeve cap and I need to remove some of it. I never have this problem in Burda. I think that on the whole, the details are better or at least there! By the way, I like the BWOF coat better. There seems to be little ease in them (which we seem to like with our regular clothes) but I wouldn't mind a bit more with my coats.cidellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13762649326538041094noreply@blogger.com
