But remember it's a jacket that you will wear with garments underneath. If you're not care full it may end up so small that you cannot wear it with anything else.!! The shoulders look fine :-)Savvysistahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04009311910441219817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6215123741467950471.post-31080065673134317502013-12-23T02:48:59.014+01:002013-12-23T02:48:59.014+01:00I agree with Vicki. Love and admire your persistence.Bunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03672695141031447916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6215123741467950471.post-72844872567460615552013-12-22T21:20:47.793+01:002013-12-22T21:20:47.793+01:00I like the shoulder upper back - looks good. Perhaps just take in the seams below the bust some more to define the waist and remove some excess fabric.Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01529416439720810403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6215123741467950471.post-90496695920640999432013-12-22T21:02:58.638+01:002013-12-22T21:02:58.638+01:00Have you applied the interfacing? To me the neckline is a style/design option. sdBevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16631048121680395678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6215123741467950471.post-79176914506955833722013-12-22T20:03:52.730+01:002013-12-22T20:03:52.730+01:00I remember that when you showed me your jacket pat...I remember that when you showed me your jacket pattern after KK had fit you, he changed the cb or the grainline in the back because your cb was not hanging straight. Well, I see that very clearly in this muslin. The cb seam is reading like a C. Why don't you take out the cb seam leaving a small sewn seam at the neck. Let it hang and see what happens. It's not outright boxy, because of the seams there it looks like it should be more fitted. Instead it's floppy. So if I were you, I'd definitely take the back in a bit.
I can't really see M-Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12274053213125040838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6215123741467950471.post-75700859347578599402013-12-22T17:20:21.716+01:002013-12-22T17:20:21.716+01:00It looks a smudge big in the front, maybe a 40 wou...It looks a smudge big in the front, maybe a 40 would be better??

Otherwise I think it looks great. Because of the big collar it sits not high but it can't be as low as I see it. From there all of your folds are originated in my opinion. The back length is not okay.
You pattern is not balanced.

posauneheidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12123591949616588669noreply@blogger.com
